The DeWalt DCG407N features DeWalt’s latest modular guard system, supplied with both a tool-free grinding guard and a clip-on cutting guard. This updated design allows fast changes between grinding and cutting applications while providing increased coverage and improved user safety in line with current EU regulations.

The grinder uses slide-switch operation and a high-efficiency brushless motor, delivering longer runtime, improved battery control, and reduced maintenance compared to brushed models. An electronic clutch helps reduce kickback in the event of a pinch or stall, while the mesh debris cover restricts dust from being drawn into the motor, extending tool life in harsh site conditions.
